4 MAKE IT STOP DJ Quik and Problem recruit The Game and Candace Boyd for 'Rosecrans'.DJ Quik and dropped their surprise EP, Rosecrans, today, and they've now uploaded the title track to SoundCloud, which should give you a good idea of the feel of the project. A buttery smooth groove, complimented by some funky-ass keys gives way to Candace Boyd's G-Funk-informed hook, while and Problem give us their West Coast best.
Unfortunately, Quik doesn't spit a verse, but he does have a spoken bridge, which contains enough charisma and wisdom that it pretty much qualifies as a 16.You can listen to the whole project. There's no better day to bump this one.Quotable Lyrics:Crossing over the railroad tracksThat near got packed out in the canalSlid out then got some of the crewCame back like 'what's happening now?' Pardon my young niggas going so wildIt's just how we used to be back in the dayGet out the way, you ain't got no business this side of Santa Fe.
